In
order to keep things simple, we've broken the music down into
four categories. When we use the words "traditional" or "contemporary", we're referring to the authorship of the song. For instance, you'll find contemporary arrangments of traditional Christmas songs here. "Traditional" songs are those in the public domain. "Contemporary" songs are those written in the last century or so:
Traditional Vocal: Vocal versions of traditional Christmas favorites. Any musical style.
Traditional Instrumental: Instrumental versions of traditional Christmas music. Mostly piano and guitar.
Contemporary Vocal: Original contemporary compositions about seasonal themes.
Contemporary Instrumental: You may not know these songs, but they were inspired by the spirit of the holiday season. |
